About Ken Ayres
Dorset pictures are just part of Ken Ayres photographic work. As a photographer specialising in Dorset Landscapes he has built up an extensive library of photographic images of the Dorset countryside, including Poole Harbour, the Isle of Purbeck, Jurassic Coast and Blackmore Vale.
Ken has lived in Dorset for over forty years and has always been interested in capturing the changing moods of that county’s enchanting landscapes, immortalised in words by Thomas Hardy and William Barnes. The library, which is constantly being updated, is not just Dorset pictures but also has beautiful images of Scotland and Cumbria, and has recently grown to encompass the Beau Villages of France.
Many of these photographs have been published in calendars, as greeting cards, and in national magazines including: This England, Heritage and Country Walking.
